This little book is a mixture of my memoirs from my summer spent in Hawaii as well as a brief to this beautiful and unique state.

Hawaii captured my imagination and left me feeling privileged to have known her. Hawaii became a US state in 1959 but its history is so intriguing and full of pathos that it’s like entering a new and yet old world, so far apart from what we are accustomed to. Learning a bit of Hawaiian history is the only way one can truly appreciate a visit there.

My stay in Hawaii was so memorable due to the fact that I shared it all with two wonderful girlfriends. I will probably never return to those magical islands but I still cherish my memories and that stupendous Hawaiian summer. Aloha!
