Born on February 6, 1890, in the town of Utmanzai, located in what is now Pakistan, Khan dedicated his life to the betterment of his people. His autobiography, a riveting account of his struggles, triumphs, and unwavering commitment to nonviolent resistance, provides a captivating insight into one of the most influential leaders of his time.

He, along with other like-minded individuals, founded the Khudai Khidmatgar movement, also known as the "Servants of God." This movement emphasized nonviolent resistance and sought to create a society based on justice, equality, and human rights.
