For many, many years, The Santa Cruz Haggadah, Kids Version has been used in four main ways: (1) before the actual seders, teachers use it as a primary tool to teach kids, in a fun way, about Passover; (2) parents use it as the primary haggadah at seders with small children, where the order and completeness are less important than the actuality of getting their attention, involvement and curiosity and the joy this engenders; (3) when the children are “early middle aged,” the Kids Book is integrated into grown-up seders by offering them a meaningful distraction, while the grown-ups work their way through the initial rituals, till its time for the story of Passover which kids then "show and tell” from their own version, and; (4) finally, it has been used as the present for kid(s) after they find the Afikomen.
