The genesis of my book is 20 years coming. I believe investors, in general, expect a financial advisor to inform them about things that are important and to be proactive and not just reactive. In this context, reactive means answering investor questions as they arise and being there for them when they need it, which are both important. But I also believe that being proactive with my investors is essential. I provide education and I actively deliver information that gives them something different to think about, something outside the box…I want you to read this book and say to yourself, “wow that made sense,” and “I wish I had read this book long ago.” I hope this book gives you ideas to take back to your advisor and ask some heart-to-heart questions, review these rules and tax laws, and figure out what you can do now to get on the right track.
